Citywide Awareness Night: Human Trafficking – Hiding in Plain Sight
Human trafficking is often misunderstood—and too often overlooked. This citywide awareness event brings together a panel of local experts who see the realities of exploitation every day, including those working in law enforcement, victim advocacy, education, and community protection.
Together, they’ll offer a powerful, practical conversation on how trafficking hides in everyday spaces, what early warning signs look like, and how ordinary community members can better protect one another from traffickers as well as how respond safely when you see something.
This evening is designed for parents, grandparents, educators, youth workers, and anyone who wants to help safeguard the vulnerable. It also provides an introduction to Project 2 Response (P2R) and serves as a first connection point for those who may want to learn more or get involved.
